About

Guzzle Hollow, TN was first settled by Europeans in the 1790's by brothers, Adam and John Cabbage, after their service with the 8th Virginia or "German" Regiment during the American Revolutionary War.

Guzzle Hollow is a natural mountain impression in Hinds' Ridge, which is part of the Ridge and Valley Appalachians, in Grainger County,TN.

The origin of the name Guzzle Hollow is uncertain. Perhaps the name was derived from the cool, clear spring that bubbles at the hollow basin; or maybe a stronger, corn beverage was enjoyed in centuries past.

Guzzle Hollow has been owned by John and Mary Anne Cabage since 1967. Today, their son, Jim Cabage, and wife Brenda, bring home grown freshness from Guzzle Hollow to your table.
