Brooks Family Farm

We live and farm on 40 acres in Quincy MO. We have primarily Hereford hogs with a couple of Hereford/Red wattle crosses. We love the Herefords for their longer bellies, great lean to fat ratio and excellent cuts. Our pork is processed USDA utilizing a couple of local processors to ensure we have the variety of products our customers like. One processor does our amazing Brats, another does our snack sticks, and the third does the bulk of our cuts. We also grow and sell specialty cut flowers through subscription and special orders, and through farmer's markets when appropriate. We also raise Cornish cross chickens on pasture and process them ourselves under Missouri exemption. We are proud of how thoroughly we inspect our birds while processing, and so for now we are continuing to do it ourselves until we can't keep up anymore. We also rotate laying hens on pasture and sell their amazing pastured eggs in a beautiful rainbow of colors. We are interested in adding a market on Wednesdays and would greatly value your consideration. We do use an enclosed trailer with freezers and a refrigerator to carry our meat and eggs to market. It is outfitted with a generator as well.
