Joe has traveled the world, usually bringing home, art and textiles. Traveling, and a special interest in the far east, has brought him to a unique understanding and love of craftwork art. In his rural, off-grid cabin and workshop Joe crates Japanese-style lanterns and stores the fresh, local bamboo he sells. Visitors by appointment are always welcome. Just remember the “off-grid” part!

Working from my small cabin, I make unique japanese-style lanterns from found glass vessels and rice paper that I age in the trees on my farm, truly. Adding baling twine and greenery also from the farm keeps these one-of-kind lanterns as unique as they are. Visitors are always welcome to help create or just stick your toes in the creek. Just remember that “off-grid” part!
