Barefoot Acres Herbs
Material Goods/Craft/Flea/Art
Neither I nor my products fall into any of the categories listed; I farm/grow the herbs I use and then craft the products I sell. Inspired by a need for natural medicine and natural skin products for my family, I began to create and grow about 16 years ago.
Everything I craft we use as a family, from different salves for different needs, chemical free skin products and beauty products, tinctures, glycerites, syrups, and fermented drinks. I started selling at markets on the nudge of a friend about six years ago. Now I regularly do the Murfreesboro saturday Market, some local vendor fairs and the Rutherford County farmers market.
Tricia Bush. Just me and my family.
I grew up in rural Pennsylvania and I grew up knowing the names of the plants, trees, and birds around me. I lost a little bit of that through the years and began re-learning it while schooling my children. During that time there was a need for natural skin products due to my oldest daughters extreme sensitivity to over-the-counter products. It was then, along with a fascination about what grew in our backyard, that we began to research herbs.
