Named after all of the women in his life, Mr. Sidney Warren founded Marie’s Wine Bar in an effort to bring an upscale wine “experience” to Waco and Central Texas. Marie’s Wine Bar provides wines from around the world while also educating guests to the stories of each wine. To date, Marie’s has served during the Baylor Football home games at the Brazos Parking Lot (across the street from McLane Stadium) since 2021. This pop up activation of Marie’s has allowed guests to experience high-quality wines from around the world. Marie’s is also the sole supplier of wine for the boutique hotel and restaurant, Pivovar. Through this customer, Marie’s is the only supplier of high end Czech wine in Central Texas.
Sidney Warren is the Founder of The Warren Group. Mr. Warren owned restaurants in the Cincinnati and Philadelphia airports for 20 years. He was also the first vendor of color to win contracts with the NFL’s Cincinnati Bengals and MLB’s Cincinnati Reds Stadiums. Mr. Warren is currently the Host of “The Warren Commission” on CBS Sports Radio. He moved to Waco in 2018 to support his wife. Dr. Tyrha Lindsey-Warren, who is a Marketing Professor at Baylor University.
