Our company is just us -- a mother and daughter team. We have lived in Harper Woods, Michigan on the Northeast side of Detroit for over 25 years. Together we grow roses and produce our own rose oil infused skincare products. All of our products are third party tested for purity and safety in Ann Arbor. A portion of our profits are donated to Turning Point, an organization that helps survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, and human trafficking. Hi, I'm Taylor! I am a 500 hour yoga teacher with a concentration in Ayurveda (Indian medicine). I teach yoga at multiple studios throughout metro-Detroit and host international women's yoga retreats. I started Motor City Botanicals with my mom in 2020 after discovering the many benefits of rose oil for skincare. My mom is a master gardener and went to work growing as many roses as she could for us to make oil for ourselves and friends and family. Our business is now thriving and we're looking to expand to Eastern Market. It's honestly a dream of mine to sell at Eastern Market and I'm hoping this year it becomes a reality.
