My crafts started as a hobby and grew into the business it is today. I create custom nail and string art as well as rice heating bags. I have been making heating bags for almost five years, and string art for four years. I create other custom projects as well, such as bottle cap collages and weighted lap blankets. Sizes for my string art can range from 16x20 to as small as 4x4. The heating bags also range in shapes and sizes, some are made for backs while others are better for necks.
Each piece starts as a larger piece of wood which is then cut to size and stained/painted. I then hand draw the image/design and overlay it on the wood. After creating the sketch I then use nails to place the outline, and fill in the design with string. I rarely make duplicates unless one is specifically requested. All the work in done by the owner of the business, Harper Matthews.

Harper is a 22 year old college student studying Exercise Science at Shenandoah University. She has always had a passion for art and found nail and string art to be her niche. Harper uses her art as an outlet and finds great happiness while creating these pieces. Peggy Matthews is Harpers mother and greatest supporter, giving her ideas as well as modeling her pieces for Harpers websites.
