The Artsy Hound is a two teacher and two rescue dog craft making operation. The teachers make rustic decor and the dogs supervise. Life got PAWSITIVELY better for everyone once these artsy hounds were adopted! The business was born to keep the pups living in the manner to which they are now accustomed.
Production Practices
In an effort to be environmentally friendly, repurposed wood is used in the craft-making process. Sources include weathered wood from fences and barns in East Tennessee, pallet board planks, and reclaimed building materials such as wood trim and shiplap. Each item is crafted with attention to detail, whether it is woodburned, stained, or painted by hand.
