I've been an antique and vintage picker in the Portland area for over 20 years. I focus on eclectic housewares, distressed clothing, and oddities. I have a brick and mortar space at Monticello Antique Mall, and have sold with the Portland Flea, Memory Den, Redfox Vintage, and Stars and Splendid in the past. My etsy shop showcases the small oddities that might be overlooked in a mall or show.
Julia Barbee is an artist and her works span performance, fashion, film, food, social media, photography, retail space, and writing. Frocky Jack Morgan was her deconstructed clothing line for 10 years in the early oughts, conceptually continued as an ephemeral perfume line; and Spaceness was a five-year running art event she co-founded and curated with her friend and husband in 2015. Born in 1978 in Portland, Oregon, where she still resides, she has degrees in Marketing, Three-Dimensional Design, and an MFA in Fiber. She has had an antique and vintage picking business for over 20 years that has straddled her visual arts practice, her educational pursuits, her child rearing, and has been a curatorial outlet for her creative interests.
