We are a 4th generation farm in Southern Illinois and the only rice farm in ILLINOIS. About 20 years ago we switched roughly 1000 acres of crops to rice due to flooding issues. A dream was doing a direct to consumer rice that was unique, special, and healthier. That dream has come true. We our honored to be the only rice farmer in the USA to grow a naturally high protein rice! We started getting to the consumer 2018 and we are excited to say, people are loving it. We are grateful that in 2018 both IL State and UI Champaign/Urbana are now serving Cahokia High Protein Rice in their dining halls.
