We raise grass-fed beef cattle (100% grass-fed) at the farm in Dexter and sell the beef. It's a cow-calf to finish operation, meaning there are mother cows that have a calf each year (in the spring) and the calves are raised until they're big enough for eating, usually 2 years or longer. The cattle rotationally graze during the growing season and when we run out of forage, hay is provided to them. The cattle receive no hormones, antibiotics or vaccines.

John Cox owns and manages the cattle and leases the farm in Dexter. Before doing any farming, he worked as a mechanical engineer in the automotive sector.
