Kauai Food Company, LLC

KFC was founded by myself Justin Matsukawa (Co-owner/Founder) and Kahai Nakamatsu (Co-owner). We were both born and raised on the Garden Island and have a great passion for our lovely homeland, which is the purpose for our little venture. Kahai and myself were born and raised in Wailua on the east side of Kauai and are childhood friends. Although we separated for a short period while we educated and made a career for ourselves our passion has brought us back to where we started. I attended the University of Idaho and by day work as an aspiring Architect in a small firm in Honolulu. Kahai was educated through the University of Hawaii system and is currently a project manager for the Department of Land and Natural Resources - Forestry Division. Our passion for the Arts and the “Aina” is the driver for our business and we hope to share our delights and vision with the world. Although we have very different careers we have one commonality, our love for Kauai.
