About
Originally, I started making handmade candles for Christmas gifts and enjoyed it so much and on top of that they smelt so amazing I decided to make them to sell. I am also an artist and had closets full of artwork. So, my seven-year-old daughter Lucy and I decided to start a business selling candles, art and home décor. We named it Lulukat because lulu is my daughter's nickname and kat is mine. Our business is new. We started it this past November and since then we have had quite a bit of success selling at art fairs and festivals.

I am a single mom elementary art teacher and artist. I have been creating art as long as I can remember. I studied visual art at the University of Texas. Originally, I painted in oil and acrylic but recently decided to try something new and taught myself how to work in watercolor. My inspiration comes from my daughter, nature and gardening. I also have a love for candles and hand pour and make my own candles. I am my happiest self when I am creating.
