BuchuVida began as a family effort to create healthier personal care products—starting with a natural deodorant that actually works. Frustrated by the side effects of conventional deodorants, we crafted our own formula made with organic, plant-based ingredients that are kind to your body, eliminate odor, and are free from aluminum and harmful chemicals. Our deodorant is vegan, cruelty-free, and handcrafted in our home in Temperance, Michigan.
Over the years, BuchuVida has grown to include a patented natural deodorant, shampoo, and facial toner, as well as herbal tea blends featuring buchu—a powerful South African plant known for its wellness benefits. We also offer tea accessories like infusers, teapots, and cups to support your tea rituals.
Beyond products, BuchuVida is a growing wellness community. We host empowering events like our monthly tea parties, the Rooted in Wellness Expo, the Rooted in Faith Retreat, and Yoga Faith classes—each designed to inspire, educate, and support your holistic health journey.

Jo Feltman is the inspiring founder behind BuchuVida, a wellness-based family brand born from her personal journey toward healthier, more natural living. Jo became frustrated that conventional deodorants triggered skin irritation and contained chemicals she didn’t want on her body. Alongside her husband and family, she decided to take matters into her own hands—formulating her own deodorant with organic, plant-based ingredients that truly worked.
Driven by her passion for clean living, Jo developed a line of products that are aluminum-free, sulphate-free and cruelty‑free. Each item is crafted at home in Temperance with utmost care and authenticity. Under her leadership, BuchuVida expanded beyond deodorant to include a patented shampoo, facial toner, and herbal tea blends featuring the South African buchu plant—plus accessories like tea infusers and teapots to enrich the tea‑making experience.
Jo’s mission extends beyond products; she’s committed to building a vibrant wellness community. She organizes signature events such as Tea Parties, the Rooted in Wellness Expo, the Rooted in Faith Retreat, and Yoga Faith Classes—creating spaces for holistic education, faith-inspired wellness, and meaningful connection.
