Bresnan Bread and Pastry

We're the Bresnans. A husband and wife team realizing a dream we both had since we met 15 years ago: To start a business together. This journey began with a wild thought…”let’s open a bakery!” In 2018, we began baking out of a shared kitchen in Dallas and selling our artisan sourdough breads and French pastries through pre-order pickups and a Dallas summer Farmer's Market. In 2022, we launched our storefront in McKinney.

Both of us are very passionate and inspired by our work. Matt pours his heart and soul into the bread and pastries (…and cookies and pie…) we’ve all come to love!! As for myself, it’s about the community because I love people. Building solid, genuine relationships is what life is all about for me. Together, we make a pretty great team and we can’t imagine building a business with anyone else!

The farmers market was the vehicle that allowed our business to grow and thrive, and we would love to be able to continue to grow a community in other areas of the metroplex.
