We are a woman- and minority-owned business looking to bring a Baltimore favorite to Charlottesville. The Crush Hut serves snowballs, which are made up of finely, shaved ice covered in delicious flavored syrups, and topped with add-ons like marshmallow creme, a Baltimore classic. Far from your typical snow cone. The difference that lines between a snow cone and a snowball is the ice. Our snowball ice is fine and fluffy because of this the syrup is able to be absorbed by the ice rather than sink to the bottom how crunchy snow cone ice does. These are a great alternative for those who are vegan, gluten free, and dairy free. We even have sugar free options for those who are looking for a sweet treat minus all the sugar. Snowballs are exactly what we are missing during our hot spring and summer days to help us cool down. Not only that, but they are a great treat for those of all ages.
