Gauck's Meats

Gauck’s Meats was started in 2009 by Kimmie & Steve Gauck to supply people in with farm fresh natural meats! After graduating from college, living away several years and moving back to Decatur County, they noticed the need to connect consumers with farmers. This is when they decided to start selling at the Main Street Greensburg Farmers Market. It is important to them that their children, Christopher and Addie, be raised on the farm. Steve and Kimmie are both 5th generation farmers. Kimmie grew up raising beef cattle in Putnam County. Steve grew up in Decatur County raising beef cattle, hogs, field crops and hay. Items offered by Gauck’s Meats are Pork Products, Pasture Raised Chicken as well as Grass Fed & Finished Beef items. Addie raises all of the pigs and now chickens processed for Gauck's Meats and Christopher raised all of the chicken and owned "Christopher's Chicken Farm" before selling his business to his sister.
