Originally from Detroit, Valencia Sipes graduated from the University of Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in architecture. Shortly after, she travelled abroad, then New York City and Los Angeles. There she added horology to her passion as well as art, music and design. Upon arriving back to Michigan, she decided that it was time to start her own brand. With her design background and attention to detail, she started the company SOL-3 Avenue. She hand makes beautiful natural stone jewelry that embodies craftsmanship at an affordable price. Nothing is mass produced and materials are purchased as needed. This is her personal commitment to be as sustainable as possible. Since her debut in 2017, she has enjoyed exhibiting at Dally in the Alley, Dequindre Cut Freight Yard, Rust Belt Market, 2018 City Lab and many more! By offering a variety of classic to eclectic pieces, her pop-up shop is the perfect addition for any marketplace, venue or event.
