About
M.S. Illustration is a small queer owned business based in the Boston area that specializes in creating fantasy and gaming inspired artwork for a wide variety of ages and identities. Owner and creator Meredith "Max" Stock (they/them/theirs) is a freelance illustrator and historian, who uses their cute art style to not only create inclusive artwork and products, but also as an educational tool by employing visual storytelling when creating design to allow inquiry into history and folklore. M.S. Illustration strives to be inclusive and in addition to creating handmade stationery and original artwork also partners with manufacturers to create limited runs of designs printed on eco-friendly, size/gender inclusive, sensory friendly, and adaptive products such as apparel or pins made from sustainably sourced wood.

Max Stock (they/them/theirs) is the artist and creator of M.S. Illustration. They are a freelance multi-media illustrator and historian with a degree in History with a concentration in ancient and medieval history and a double minor in Studio Art and Medieval & Renaissance Studies. They enjoy working with a variety of artistic mediums including ink, watercolor, and digital tools, and take inspiration from history, folklore, fantasy media, and the natural world. When not exhibiting at markets or working on research you can find them playing video games, reading, going to the beach, or working on their next art piece.
