Ziggy's Bakehouse

Ziggy's Bakehouse is a new business I'm creating with inspiration from my 4 children and my church to share my talents. I have been baking for almost 30 years and have many recipes that have been refined and improved over the years. I recently starting sharing my baked breads with church friends and neighbors and want to do more. My products are "tasting" loaves that are smaller and allow the option for multiple tastings. I offer more unique breads including Italian Herbed Breads (i.e., Rosemary & Sage, Thyme & Basil, etc.), Swedish Swedish Sweet bread (various seasonings), Artisan Rounds (i.e., multi-grain, spiced fennel, etc.), Traditional French Bread, German pretzels (in season), other European breads and a collection of Dessert breads (lemon poppyseed, blueberry, spiced apple, pumpkin, gingerbread, etc). My plan is to have a selection of the above at each market with weekly changes to offer some standard breads along with some features. I want to give back with this business so a portion of proceeds will go to a selected charity focused on feeding the hungry and I also plan to offer a "Pay It Forward" option if customers want to buy a loaf to help someone in need (these will be distributed on a weekly or bi-weekly basis to a selected food bank or other food distribution source). I have always had a passion for cooking and find great joy in sharing my baked creations with others.
