In The Cottage Kitchen tasty and homemade baked goods are crafted in my own home kitchen. Florida’s cottage food law allows for people like me with a passion for baking to make certain baked goods out of their own home and share them with the public. What makes The Cottage Kitchen unique is that when creating in a small- batch, small-kitchen setting, the passion comes through the creations. Out of The Cottage Kitchen comes bagels, muffins, breakfast breads, cupcakes, desserts bars, cookies, confections, celebration cakes, vegan and gluten free items and anything else that a creative mind can bring this way. I am forever learning and trying new things and hope the public enjoys my creations as much as I do!
I have worked in bakeries for 7 years. From retail to custom order shops to educational settings, I have experience in many areas culinary and business wise. In my current job as the pastry chef I have gained knowledge in ordering processes, time management, overseeing staff and executing desserts artistically and presentable for catered events. I am familiar with event set ups from previous jobs at vendor expositions such as bridal shows and client related catering including weddings, parties, celebration and business events, etc. I have years working in a field that relies on the satisfaction of the public. I am positive, friendly, timely, and organized in my trade, and most importantly passionate!
