Our 3rd generation, Hudson Valley 350-acre farm has been in our family for over 50 years. For the past 20 years, we've been a fiber producing farm- using our farm-raised alpaca and Cormo sheep fleeces to make artisanal finished knit and woven products in beautiful natural colors. Our farm open house held in early summer, is open to fiber artists, enthusiasts and their families. Our products - all made by local fiber artists from 100% home-grown alpaca and blended yarns with our cormo fleece- are both for inspiration and make fabulous gifts. Alpacatrax features fleeces, roving, and sport, lace and bulky weight yarns. that are beautifully crafter by am award-winning micro-mill. We're proud to support open space conservation and natural resource protection in the Hudson Valley, young farmers learning and utilizing sustainable farming and timbering practices, and the Hudson Valley science community which highlights local and regional conservation strategies for landowners and Hudson Valley communities.
