Bayfront Chocolates is Melissa Dow's new brand for her European-style artisan chocolate confections. Working under the previous name TC Chocolatier, Melissa has been creating unique, beautiful, and the most amazing chocolates most have tasted for more than 30 years. She makes all her artisan chocolates and chocolate-based items by hand, starting with the highest quality natural ingredients, working with local farmers for as many fresh ingredients possible. Melissa Dow’s career as a pastry chef and chocolatier spans more than 30 years. She began as a teenager, creating European tortes and pastries under the tutelage of a CIA-trained chef and mentor. She has experience working in several top-rated establishments across the country and has been selected to create unique desserts for customers to include a governor and a U.S. President. Over the years her skills and creativity has blossomed while making truffles and caramels for friends and family, eventually selling at outdoor markets, weddings, and other events. Melissa currently lives with her husband in South Tampa.
