University of Virginia Adult Comprehensive Sickle Cell Disease Program

We care for adult patients from around central Virginia with sickle cell disease, a group of inherited red blood cell disorders that affects more than 100,000 people in the United States and 20 million people worldwide. June 19th is World Sickle Cell Day, and we want to raise awareness about this important issue in our community.
