MUUG

MUUG aspires to make soft, modern, (fun)ctional ceramics to elevate your everyday rituals. Mostly producing home and kitchenware you'll find sturdy mugs (duh) + cups, plates + platters, and vases + vessels, among our many goods.

The name MUUG stems from two things: 1. MUUG (like moo with a ‘g’ at the end) is a silly little thing that slipped out of my mouth one day coming home from the studio. My partner Julien asked, “What’d you make today?”. I replied, “muuuugs”. And it’s stuck ever since.

2. My unbridled love of mugs - in my eyes, they are the perfect vessel: ice cream, coffee + tea, tiny bouquets of wildflowers, soup, snacks, paint brushes, paint brush water, booze, you name it, a mug makes it better. I’ve been collecting mugs since high school and don’t intend on stopping anytime soon.
