We are a small privately owned farm specializing in producing high quality meats located in Callaway county by New Bloomfield. Our cattle herd is predominantly angus w/ some shorthorn and working on crossbreeding waygu. Steers are finished on pasture and grain for over 200 days and no hormones or unnecessary antibiotics are given. Meat sold at the market will be USDA inspected. Last year we finish about 20 steers and all graded out at high choice or prime.
Most steers are born on our farm in the spring. While still w/ momma cow they have full access to minerals and a creep feeder to maximize growth and begin the marbling process. After weaning they are on pasture and some grain till about 7-800 lbs. At that point I move them to the fat pin where they have full access to unlimited hay, pasture and grain. They have very little stress and overall are very happy cattle.

Scott grew up in Colorado on the ranch and had a career for the government in land management/ emergency services before moving to Missouri and still works in forestry along w/ running the farm. We are foodies and like to be self sufficient which led us to buying our own farm in Callaway to produce health foods that also taste great.
