About
I have been in business as an artist in West Michigan for over twenty years as a jewelry artist and photographer.
My jewelry designs are modern with an antique twist and I strive for zero waste within my jewelry practice. I bring historical images into my designs with "saved from the scrap heap" impression dies (like a mold for metal), from the art nouveau, gothic and art deco eras of history. I cut apart these pressings made from the dies and rearrange them into my own vision. You will see my sense of humor, stories and fables, gods and goddesses, all present with natural stone features. As a child, I grew up with my nose constantly in a book, and my love of this weaves a common thread through all of my art.

I am a one woman workhorse and do everything from making the work to marketing and being my own physical labor. This year, you may see an adorable face working alongside me which will be my son, Arthur. (working being subjective because he is eight) :) He will be working on his money math skills, so I hope he does well! (add giant gulp here. LOL!)
I will also have a helper for a few weeks from May 21 - June 6th, while I am on a trip with my mother. His name is Ian, and he knows a lot about my work since he was our jewelry resident at the KIA a few years ago. Stop by and say hello!
