Ugly Barn Flower Farm

Until recently I have grown flowers for my own enjoyment. I am newly retired from a long career as an educator in which I facilitated a garden program at the school where I was employed . My students learned to sow and grow seeds, maintain a small green house and raised beds and participate in an annual seedling and hanging basket sale. Nearing retirement, My husband found a beautiful 4 acre piece of property in the Palouse region of Washington state with a farmhouse from the 1870’s with a big ugly barn. Since we purchased the farm we have remodeled the house and have been expanding the garden each year. I was a participant in the Garfield farmers market last year and we are now we are ready to focus on flowers and a larger market.
