Syringa River Co. LLC is a small eco-based local company located in Boise, ran by myself Erin Smith and my husband Matt Smith. We established our home based business in late 2022 and have been selling our products primarily online, thru platforms like Esty, shopify and our website listed above. Now, we are looking to sell/network with and to our local community in person at markets and events.
At Syringa River Co. LLC we hand produce and hand pour beautiful eco-friendly botanical natural based products that primarily include natural non-toxic candles, that are hand poured with a blend of natural apricot-coconut wax, that is vegan, free of gluten, toxin free, paraben free, phthalate free, and comes from renewable sources. Our blend utilizes only FDA approved waxes, blended with high quality fragrances made from natural essential oils, that are free from parabens, phthalates and are IFRA Certified. All produced from our home based shop in Boise.
What we sell :
CANDLES - We offer our candles in a few different vessel options such as ; handmade carved wood, ceramic, glass and metal vessels we source from artisans and suppliers. We also sell candle gift boxes, and seasonal sample boxes before each coming season.
REED OILS - We infuse our natural reed oils ( for our ceramic reed diffusers with natural bamboo reed sticks. )
ROOM SPRAY'S - We make and sell natural infused room sprays, that are alcohol free, linen safe, and can be used for a variety of things.
BODY & BATH OILS - We will from time to time sell our natural body and bath oils, that are made and mixed from organic cold pressed carrier oils and botanical ingredients hand sourced from local farmers, markets and our suppliers.
WICK TRIMMERS - We sell steel wick trimmers for our candles.
All our products are hand sourced from natural ingredients, free from harsh chemicals and toxins. Our candles and products are carefully curated with the soul intention of promoting and invoking all around wellness mind, body and soul right here locally in Boise.
Hi my name is Erin, I was born and raised in Boise! I am a mother of three boys and a few fur babies, that I share with my husband Matt. I am the creator and founder of Syringa River Co. My role - I run every aspect of the business, with the occasional help of my husband and sister-in law Stephanie Smith. My family and live up passed Micron in Southeast Boise, close to the Boise Airport where my husband Matt works, as an air traffic controller. Our family and I really do live the true Boise lifestyle and love our Idahome!
A little more about myself :
I'd like to think myself as an innovative and creative person, who loves art and community. I started out in my professional career as a Pastry chef while raising our children, and have worked in our community with local restaurants in designing and development of their dessert recipes and menus, as well as taught the art of sugar art before deciding to jump all in to the art of candle making, utilizing eco based natural ingredients that we deeply believe in making available to the public.
I value integrity in everything we set out to do in our lives both personally and professionally. Matt and I approach our business production with the fundamental principles of innovation, thus transforming our business operations as we continue to grow. We harness gratitude for the past moments that have shaped our present and future. The Syringa River Co. creation is led with passion. We hope to inspire our team and our family, community, customers & partners to harness their passions and light up their lives with innovation and creation for a better tomorrow. We believe in intentional creation. Every aspect of our product has a purpose from start to finish. And as our business grows so does our commitment to sustainability. Our approach is integrated throughout our business to strive to protect the environment, empower people, and get results the right way—today and tomorrow.
