Barefoot Canvas is my art studio and has three aspects of products: freehand machine embroideries on hand-dyed cotton canvases, acrylic paintings, and pen & ink art printed merchandise.
The freehand machine embroidery method that I employ involves no special programming; I draw with my sewing machine. The 100% cotton canvases that I use for these embroideries are hand-dyed by me with kitchen scraps and concoctions that I made using locally found items like old nails and railroad stakes.
My paintings and pen & ink art are always unique. I love wordplay and often incorporate it into my work.
All designs are my own.

Art is a passion I've only recently allowed myself to delve into; it's always taken the back burner when other tasks were around. Now, though, I have decided to embrace all the fun and abstract ideas inside my head and simply GO FOR IT!
Now I love what I do and get such joy when others tell me that they love it, too!
