Bridge City

Bridge City is a specialty coffee business with the mission of "building value and hope in people through coffee". What we value the most is our relationship to people and building bridges between communities.

We will not compromise in sourcing quality coffees that will not commoditize people. We seek to share with our communities the value of each farmer from many different origins. Additionally, we invest into our employees by giving them opportunities for growth in an industry that is typically just trying to maximize profits. We connect with local non-profits to employ those that have been in job training programs and need the opportunities to demonstrate their job and life skills. The first thing I did when I joined the Bridge City team was connect with various non-profits to see the viability of partnering with them in the future. I have met with Mission Waco's MPowerment program, Communities in Schools, Ester's Closet, and I have connected with the Centex African American Chamber of Commerce, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and Prosper Waco.

Bridge City began in Greenville, SC and they are living out this mission in several location in SC. Bridge City Waco will be the first expansion out of state.
