Combining my love of nature with my passion for art, I create very realistic images of nature's wonders as well as colorful and exciting abstract designs. My specialty is birds but I don't limit myself....if a certain frog, flower or other image "speaks to me", I must draw it. Pastels and colored pencils are my preferred media. Most of my abstract art is created using acrylics. My work can be purchased in many forms: prints, acrylic, metal and merchandise such as mugs, coasters, tote bags, apparel, magnets, puzzles and more. Original work is also available, especially at the many art fairs, shows and expos where I display my many creations.
Originally a California "Valley Girl", I recently moved to Eagle, Idaho with my life partner, Brad, where we are happily spending our Golden Years. When I'm not creating art, Brad and I are enjoying the beauty surrounding the many walking paths along the Boise River, experiencing delicious food and beverage at one of Southern Idaho's charming restaurants, or relaxing as we taste wine at a local winery. Volunteering with the Assistance League of Boise is an important endeavor for me and extremely rewarding. When not involved in any of the above, my time is spent following true crime and crocheting. It's a good life!
