MAEMA Totes is passionate about "Green Fashion" and we look for ways to create products that will help and not harm the planet. Our Signature PVC Totes are made from 100% recycled woven plastic straw sourced from West Africa. Owner Natasha came across the materials while volunteering at a children's orphanage. In in effort to reduce the improperly discarded remains of the plastic woven floor mats she came up with an idea on how to make something from the scraps. Her first designs were wallets and eventually she created the signature MAEMA Totes. MAEMA Totes is a solution for helping minimize plastic pollution currently plaguing West Africa. By using recycled plastic to create an everyday use item, MAEMA Totes demonstrates a fashionable approach to the urgent need to reduce plastic pollution worldwide. MADE IN USA/ Atlanta, GA.
