Simple Hippie Hearts’ products are all natural and organic, with no added preservatives to increase shelf life nor added chemicals or enhancers. These holistic products have little to no side effects because they are handmade with herbs locally grown in the Tennessee area, unlike pharmaceutical medicine that comes with harsh side effects. The production process is also collaborative, involving two sometimes three small businesses which helps the community not only grow, but give other small business owners an opportunity to increase their financial disposition. Each product was created with love and particular care originally for a family member of my own, which is why my products are unique and vary in uses. It started from wanting to heal my relatives naturally, because many of them displayed addictive behaviors to pharmaceutical drugs along with some other long lasting side effects. Also with more people becoming skeptical of medical corporations, SHH products help alleviate that issue by being safe to use on all ages from babies to the elderly. Most of my competitors still use added preservatives and chemicals to extend shelf life or give instant temporary relief while SHH products promote healing from within so the issue does not keep arising. With our bodies already having a cannabinoid system, the holistic CBD- infused products with specific herbs makes the perfect remedy to help our bodies heal naturally.
I established Simple Hippie Heart in Washington DC; since cannabis is fully legal in DC, I was able to research the different strains of cannabis and herbs that help promote healing in fatigue, anxiety, pain. appetite, colon issues and even Multiple Sclerosis. From this research, I created a line of teas and edibles that would help aid and promote healing in those specific areas. Next, I went to many different holistic offices and held pop-up events to educate people on the holistic benefits of cannabis without having to smoke the plant for consumption. When I decided to move back home; I saw how my little sister had extremely bad eczema, my mother had bad back pain and my grandma's hands used to swell because of arthritis. I knew then I had to educate and help heal my family and that's how I created my line of CBD Salves. When I saw firsthand how quickly and effectively my products worked, I then reached out to church members and the community to share my remarkable healing products.
