Philly Phoods was born through idle hands of the pandemic. When Hakeem Lee found himself looking for ways to stay productive throughout shut downs he began experimenting in cultivating greens and fell in love.
What started as a hobby has become a passion and now a business. Hakeem really saw an opportunity to nourish his community with mission based goals. The idea of building a business around sustainability & nutrition starts with the microgreens meticulously curated at Philly Phoods.

Hakeem is currently a farming student, working toward a Permaculture design and regenerative agriculture certification at Hundred Fruit Farm in New Hope, PA. This knowledge and experience will not only propel Philly Phoods into a full service farm providing healthy and natural foods, they will also do it affordably.
