I have been a mother for 21 years, and a midwife for the majority of that time. I have called Portland home since 2008, having relocated from the east coast, and have lived in NE Portland since 2017. My husband Derek and I have been together since 2015 and we enjoy cultivating our property into a fruit forest using a variety of farming techniques including permaculture, and biodynamic farming. We started with chickens and have been expanding to include a variety of fruits trees, berry bushes, and herbs, both culinary and medicinal.
