My work consists of original wood carvings and wood turnings for decorative and functional use. The vast majority of my work uses native Minnesota woods, often from storm-damaged trees or trees being removed from someone's property. I specialize in using food-safe finishes on all of my products.

I have been carving for over 35 years. Ten years ago this love of wood got me interested in turning. I enjoy both pursuits and find that they often complement each other. I have taught at a number of seminars and find that I always learn something from each student. There is certain zen that I get from working with wood and consider it a great way to turn 15 minutes into 3 hours.
