Emerald Mushroom Farm

In 2021, my spouse and I decided to buy some land in the countryside surrounding Richmond where we could escape the hustle and bustle of city life and get away with our three young children to explore the woods and decompress. As we took family walks to become familiar with our acreage, I took notice of how many mushrooms grow naturally on our land. I started taking photos of these mushrooms and went online to identify them. As I became more interested in mushrooms, I went online to watch videos on mushroom hunting. Those videos led me to videos on mushroom farming, which led me to purchase books on mushroom cultivation, and from there a dream sprouted.

Our mushrooms are responsibly grown on site at our farm in Montpelier, VA using all natural processes and growing mediums. Raising our family on the land of Emerald Mushroom Farm, we are proud to grow the food that feeds your families. Thank you for supporting this tradition.
