About

Crème de Liqueur is a women-owned liquor-infused ice cream company made in Rockland, MA. Our decadent line emphasizes local spirits and carries up to 2% ABV (lighter than a light beer). We partner with local distillers on many of our flavors--for instance we use Triple Eight Distillery (Nantucket,MA) for our Chocolate Brownie Bourbon, Bully Boy Distillers (Boston, MA) for our Lemon Cream Vodka, and look forward to working with even more local partners on our flavors. We are excited to offer more dairy-free options this summer with our sorbets including Margarita Sorbet, Basil Lemon Drop, and more. By keeping the focus on local, from our distiller partners to our mix-in suppliers, we hope that our ice cream gives you a chance to support local with every bite. We are proud to offer our products in a variety of retail shops, specialty liquor-stores, and wholesale to restaurants and venues. Cheers!

Crème de Liqueur was founded with one goal in mind: to bring a delicious celebration to the every day. Growing up, co-founders Elizabeth and Nisreen had similar experiences, half a country away from each other. Elizabeth’s family hosted elegant dinner parties where quality time and extraordinary food were punctuated with an elevated dessert/nightcap, a shot of vodka over refreshing lemon sorbet. At the same time, Nisreen spent Sundays watching her dad make his late-night masterpiece, an ice cream bowl piled high with rocky road, cornflakes, and a shot of scotch. So when the ladies finally met, they quickly bonded over a shared nostalgia for delicious, everyday celebrations. Realizing this could all be captured in a pint, Crème de Liqueur was born.

We took a unique path to business ownership and launched in our two states of Wisconsin and Massachusetts simultaneously. While others told us it wasn’t possible, we knew both areas needed to try this dessert. After all, the people here are fiercely loyal to locally-made goods, and many enjoy a stiff drink. In 2021, we sold our first pint in both states, and Nisreen and Elizabeth learned a seemingly endless amount about bringing such a unique product to market. From legal exemptions to flavor preferences, launching in two states gave us the advantage of making mistakes and learning and scaling quickly. We are focused on regional and national growth and look forward to continuing to sell our decadent line of liquor-infused frozen custard to retailers, restaurants, and venues nationwide.
