About

We are part of a very large and tight-knit family who has been working this land for over a decade. We started farming as a hobby; growing animals and small amounts of produce to satisfy our own desires of eating healthy, earthy, and delicious food. To our surprise our love for farming grew as well as the number of helping hands around the house. Our small scale hobby has now been transformed into a working farm dedicated to serving our customers the highest quality of goods. Our new goal is to spread knowledge of regenerative agriculture through the food that we produce right here on the hillside of Hoadley Hills Farm. We feel great about the food we produce and we strive to create healthy and traditional homegrown products.
We take pride in the way we raise our animals knowing that it is healthier for the animals, the people who consume our products and the land we are living on. We are committed to our practices (outlined below) and are always looking for ways to learn and improve what we are doing.

Production Practices

Pastured Permaculture Design Antibiotic And Hormone Free Holistic Management Use Only Organic Materials

We produce pasture raised chicken in mobile chicken tractors where we move the chickens onto a fresh piece of grass every day. We supplement their diet with organic grain and whey.

We produce pasture raised pork either in pasture or the woods. They are given a paddock and moved every 7-12 days to a new paddock until they are ready for slaughter. We also supplement their diet with organic grain and whey.

We produce pasture raised eggs in a mobile chicken coop and create a new paddock with electric netting every other day.
We utilize cows, goats, and sheep (only for our own family right now) in order to mow the grass ahead of the chickens. Their manure also attracts insects that the chickens love to forage for. The chickens scrape through the manure and help it decompose into the soil quicker while also leaving their own manure which is higher in nitrogen to help the regrowth of the grass. This multi-species grazing system allows us to produce more food and it is healthier for the pastures.

We do not hold any certifications but we are committed to raising the healthiest meat organically and pasture raised while also healing and regenerating the land we are farming.
