Hey there! I'm Sarah Hrovoski. I'm the owner and maker behind Siluet, a small batch home goods line. I've been a career woodworker for over 15 years and spent 6 years co-running a custom furniture and cabinetry shop before deciding to branch out on my own. Currently, my sculptural wood bud vases, magnetic knife rails, and hand tied brooms can be purchased through stockists, via my online shop, or at pop ups and markets. Siluet sprang from the dream to create objects meant to enrich the lives of their owners through daily interaction. Each piece strives to inspire connection and contemplation by merging the sensitivity of form, the tactile nature of material, and the heirloom quality of craft. In addition to my home goods line, I continue to make unique custom furniture and commissioned artwork that utilizes traditional woodworking and craft techniques as a starting point to explore our attraction and relationship to form, whether that be a conscious delight in spatial proportion and texture or a subconscious response rooted in memory or emotion.
