Indie & Iverson was started out of sheer necessity…. If you go to about any standard soap boutique you will realize there is a MAJOR inclusivity issue… Not only are there very few products that cater to the culturally diverse communities, but the EXTREAMLY slim number of products for sensitive skin… This is where I come in! I have constructed a formula that is tested and truly exquisite for sensitive skin! This bar soap is not only soothing but smells amazing! Nothing is worse than “fragrance free” because the company hasn’t taken the time to do the research or sat down with skin specialists to get the right formulas… I have had those conversations with estheticians and sensitive skin suffers. The secret is in the sauce. Although don’t be misled, we still make your everyday custom soaps as well… these bars still have all the same soothing properties (with a little more exfoliant).

My name is Sophia Chaplin, and I am the owner of Indie & Iverson Soap Co. My story is simple. From a young age I always had a passion of boutiques and the atmosphere that surrounded them. Once I got into my teen years, I started modeling for a few different boutiques around the area while working in a family-owned retail store where I sharpened my skills on running a business. A lot of the advice I have received over the many years has come from simply talking to people within the industry and asking the right questions! Thanks to those who inspired me and put me on the right track, I can successfully say that at 20 years old and a Sophomore at Ball State (The Miller Collage of Business) I launched Indie & Iverson in early 2023.
