We are Vineyard owners located in Stanardsville, VA. Angela is a pastry chef who graduated from Johnson & Wales University in Denver, CO. After extensive research and numerous worldwide chocolate tours, we formed York Confections to share our passion for fine chocolate. We currently produce assorted truffles, bark, and bars from sustainably farmed cacao beans using locally made ingredients such as local honey, jams/jellies, herbs, spices, wine, and spirits. Our goal for 2023 is to begin producing bean to bar chocolate using cane sugar substitutes such as local freeze dried honey, coconut sugar, etc.
We began selling at the Greene Farmer’s Market December of 2022 and wish to expand our reach to Charlottesville soon.
