Life Enrichment Center is a nonprofit which received ARPA funding from the city of Cedar Rapids to serve seniors while the city explores developing a multigenerational community center. The City’s goals: Determine Interim programming/coordinate activities/resources a. Create/market centralized information hub. b. Coordinate new group outings.
LEC hosts Coffee & Chat twice a week, Mondays 1-3:30 pm and Thursdays 9-11:30 am, at the Four Oaks Bridge campus, 2100 1st Ave NE, Cedar Rapids. Outings and other off-site events will also be offered.
Life Enrichment Center, Marion Community Center, Hiawatha Community Center, and other senior groups are networking together to reach out to seniors with activities, programming, and socialization opportunities. Stop by our table at the Farmers’ Market to chat and to pick up information on our groups and locations/dates/times we meet.

LEC Bridge to Opportunities meets at Four Oaks Bridge Campus, 2100 1st Ave. NE, Cedar Rapid, directly across from Cottage Grove Place and Cottage Grove Ave. Parking and entrance, including handicap ramp, are at the back of the building.
