I'm the founder and baker of The Vegan & The Whisk. I’ve been baking for as long as I can remember. When I was about 13 I took over as my family’s resident pastry chef. My sister’s birthday is next week? I’ll bake a cake! My brother’s getting married this weekend? I’ll bake a cake! My church is having a potluck? I’ll bake a cake!
I not only love to bake and decorate cakes, but I also love eating them! When I went vegan in 2017, I experienced the rude awakening of the lack of vegan baked goods and desserts available. I also had to relearn all of my favorite recipes using vegan ingredients, which took a lot of time and testing.
After perfecting my recipes, I wanted to share my yummy vegan treats with the world! I also knew that I wanted to start my own business, so I finally did and The Vegan & The Whisk was born!
