I began sewing at the age of 14. I painted my very first painting at the age of 56. At 60 I started my own business selling my paintings and sewing hand-crafted healing pillows, dog bandanas, and bowties. In 2022 I merged my two most beloved past times into one by having my paintings transferred to fabrics that I use to make my handmade pillows and dog bandanas.

I have a wonderful group of retired women who support and work with me to build my business and my dream. have attended shows monthly in Georgetown, Round Rock, and Cedar Park as well as full weekend shows in Georgetown at the Christmas Stroll, Katy, Belton, Waco, and Dallas over the last 3 years. I have had the pleasure of working with nonprofit groups like Rescue Magazine, SPCA, Wounded Warriors, and Backpack friends at their events. Last year we attended 19 shows. We are experienced at large shows like the Poppy Festival. My team and I have perfected the art of booth setup. We have decorated and laid out indoor booths as large as 20' x 20'. I have all my own roadies, fire-rated tents, a solar-powered inverter, a microwave, lighting, tables, tablecloths, signage, and a toolbox. We are a very professional team. We wear uniforms and aprons that have our names embroidered on them. We are excellent with customers. We demonstrate my pillows by warming them in a microwave and handing out cards that tell about how they are made and how to use them. We carefully pick out and match fabrics for our reversible dog bandanas adding new styles for each season and holiday. We pattern each bandanna, then carefully hand-sew, press, and label each one. The bandanas come in sizes XS - XXXL. We have fitted all types of pets from geese to donkeys. We honestly enjoy vending at markets because we believe in our product and we love what we do! My Team and I would be honored to be a part of the Georgetown Market Days Markets.
