Hippie Cookie

My name is Nick Chavez I am the owner and creator of Hippie Cookie. Back in 2015 I wanted to have my own custom essential oil scent. I found a company on line who specialized in making custom fragrance oils and chose 5 scents to be combined into one custom scent. I absolutely loved the scent and would almost daily receive compliments from women and men everywhere I went. I purchased this scent from them for 3 years and one day I went to order a new bottle and found that the company had gone out of business. Having just a little bit left in my bottle I began trying to duplicate the custom scent myself. After all, I choose the 5 scents to be combined. After a little trial and error and a lot of dedication and time spent researching I was finally able to duplicate my custom scent and I dubbed it Hippie Cookie.

In 2019 I began selling Hippie Cookie as a Unisex Fragrance thru Facebook and have shipped bottles all over the country to men and women. In 2021 I began working on my second product to compliment my fragrance oil and began producing Hippie Cookie Body Butter.

In January of 2022 I met and partnered up with Lacey Klemp from The Cozy Cardinal and together we began working on artisan cold process soap recipes and hand poured Soy candles that we sell thru our website and also at craft and trade shows in North Iowa. We are excited to begin promoting Hippie Cookie in 2023 and are planing to vend at farmers markets, art and music festivals. We are also working on a national advertising campaign and commercial that we hope to launch in the fall of 2023. Thank you for considering us for The DesMoines Farmers Market.
