Pyrography LLC

My name is Arcangel Morales I am blessed to be a full time artist. Two of my greatest passions is contributing to people happiness. By creating my art and sharing it with others I have found I am able to contribute in that aspect. I grew up in San Juan Puerto Rico and was introduced to art at an early age by my family members such as my mother, aunt, father and cousin, they are also artists in their own right. Seeing them be creative sparked a fire, desire and inspired me to make art. I attended the Central School for the Arts in Puerto Rico where I learned to work in different mediums such as acrylic, water colors, oils pastels, sculptures among other mediums.
After school I joined the US NAVY and after one tour of duty in 1999 I enrolled in the International Academy of Design and Technology in Orlando Florida where I obtained a degree in Computer Graphics. But I was not satisfied with that line of work I felt a huge void and a need to be creative so I decided to create art again with my hands instead of relying on a computer. I decided to start making pyrography art because at the time it was a medium I have never worked with before. I also started creating art with recycled vinyl records. I brake the records on pieces and sculpt them into the desired shape.
I love creating these art pieces because it is a form of meditation and relaxation for me. But the most satisfying part of it is seeing the reaction of people when they first see my work and the smile and joy it brings them.
