I make slab built functional pottery with the occasional artistic piece. For the most part, it is kitchen items such as mugs, bowls, jars but I also make plant pots and have a goal of trying some lamps. My work is textured with clay stamps that I carve and bisque fire. Each slab is textured before hand building into each piece.

I started taking pottery classes about 8 years ago in local art studios and was hooked on wheel throwing. It was an off and on hobby starting to fade into the background. Then pandemic came around and with all the time spent at home, I started again. I don't have a wheel but I had in the early days acquired a kiln. Slab building was a difficult start because it wasn't what I wanted to do but I found my stamping inspiration and the work has been flowing out of me since. These types of vendor markets and pop-ups have allowed me to continue doing this and find some small success. I have found it difficult to sell my work online with all the competition out there so at this time, I couldn't afford to do this without this community. Thanks so much!
