About Bodhi Bee Farms LLC
Bodhi Bee Farms is a small, family-owned business rooted in a passion for nature, wellness, and community. After relocating from Chesapeake, we quickly fell in love with the Williamsburg area—and this vibrant community welcomed us with open arms.
What began as a sideline born of our love for honey bees and natural living has grown into a mission-driven business dedicated to sharing, teaching, and connecting with like-minded individuals who appreciate well-being, beekeeping, gardening, and sustainable living.
We typically harvest honey in mid-July, handling every step ourselves—from extraction and straining to bottling and labeling. Our honey is raw, never pasteurized or microfiltered, and offered directly to consumers at a fair price. While our production is seasonal and varies with nature, we occasionally feature products from other trusted apiarists who share our values, mission, and philosophy.
We’re passionate about education and mentorship. While openings are limited, we offer beekeeping mentorships and plan to expand into personalized training and services in the near future.
Community & Volunteerism
We actively support our community through participation in local clubs, charities, and events. We mentor new beekeepers and are always eager to share knowledge about bees, plants, herbs, gardening, and holistic well-being.

Integrated Pest Management
At Bodhi Bee Farms, we are committed to sustainable and responsible beekeeping practices that produce clean, chemical-free honey. Our methods prioritize the health and wellbeing of our bees, and we strictly adhere to Virginia law 2VAC5-319-30: Best Management Practices for the Keeping of Honey Bees. We also work closely with the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (VDACS) Apiarists to ensure our standards remain among the highest in the state.
Our beeswax candles are handcrafted using 100% pure beeswax — with no added fragrances, oils, or synthetic waxes. We use only 100% cotton wicks, free of metals or synthetic fibers, to ensure a clean, natural burn.
